How We Work
Referral Process
The referring authority must make the referral via telephone or email, or through the DPS process.
Keyworking System
We operate a key work system which ensures every young person has a named staff member who would work closely with them and be their main contact.
Placement Stability
Safe Haven Services insist on receiving adequate information prior to placement to enable us to make decisions on the interventions.
Moving Into Our Homes
At Safe Haven Services we recognise that young people moving into one of our resources may not have very much in terms of material possessions.
Safeguarding
We believe that protecting young people is based upon building positive relationships and encouraging and supporting young people to value themselves.
Our Aims and Objectives
Safe Haven Services aims to provide targeted care and support in supported accommodation for vulnerable young people. Our service is targeted to support young people in the care of the Local Authority who are making the transition from care to independence including those who may still require additional care and support.
